Vegan, Raw Tahini Brownie Bites!

Tahini, made from ground roasted sesame seeds, is packed with protein and magnesium. These brownie bites are made sans refined sugar using dates to sweeten the mix and including vitamin-rich almonds to add a little occasional crunch!

Vegan, Raw Tahini Brownie Bites!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups raw almonds
1/3 cup cacao powder
Pinch of fine sea salt
8-10 medjool dates, pitted
1/4 cup raw tahini
3-4 tablespoons raw vanilla almond milk

Vegan, Raw Tahini Brownie Bites!

Method:
1. In a food processor, blend the almonds into a fine meal, then add the cacao powder and sea salt, and pulse just until combined.
2. Add the tahini then add the dates and pulse for 25-30 seconds. Add three tablespoons of the almond milk and pulse until the mixture starts to ball up. If it’s still dry, add additional almond milk until a dough-like mixture forms.
3. Using a 1 1/2 teaspoon scoop, drop the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roll into balls then roll in cacao powder, if desired. Bites can be kept refrigerated, in an air tight container, for up to two weeks.
