Chile’s Famous Torres Del Paine, Patagonia

A Bucket List Must: Torres Del Paine, Patagonia

If you are an adventure junky, there is one place you need to go, and that is to Patagonia. A hike that will cement itself in your memory forever, is the Torres Del Paine. The granite pillars of Torres del Paine (Towers of Paine) dominate the natural surroundings of one of the planet’s most breathtakingly beautiful National Parks.
The Hike:
Daily buses run from Puerto Natales to get into Las Torres sector where Base Of Las Torres trek (the most famous one and we definitely recommend it) starts. Hike to the Torres, one of the park’s star attractions. This is a beautiful trail, that will keep you at your paces, as you trek through mountains and woods along the meandering river.
Other activities in the area include fly-fishing, kayaking or ice hiking. Bring as much food as you can or want to carry. Dried fruit and nuts make great hiking snacks.
There are several accommodation options in the park. They vary from basic to luxury. We recommend making reservations in advance.
