Normally celebrities don’t respond to the rumors and gossip in most tabloid magazines, but sometimes the latest headlines in the tabloid we love to hate may be so outrageous that even the strongest celebs will break their silence and respond. And that is what happened recently when Hollywood power couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis decided to have a little fun with the tabloids.
The two originally met when they played childhood sweethearts on “That 70s Show”. In fact, the pair were so young when they met that Ashton was Mila’s first kiss both on the show and in real life. But despite that, the two remained friends. It wasn’t until much later in life that the two met again and decided to ignite their relationship.
After a whirlwind romance, the two soon moved in together, but they found they were constantly trying to shoot down rumors of a potential split. Today Mila and Ashton are happily married and have two beautiful children together. For the most part, the couple have been very private, although it is very difficult for them to hide their love for one another.
Despite trying to keep their family life out of the private eye, when a recent magazine printed a headline that yet again claimed the two were breaking up and that Mila had taken the children, the couple figured the best way to approach the situation was to laugh it off. So the pair decided to post a very unique video response addressing the rumors and it was hilariously executed.
In the video Ashton asks a pouty Mila what is wrong, she then shows him the headline on her phone and says, “it’s over between us”. After a shocked Ashton asks why, Mila goes on to read out the rest of the headline, all the while smiling as she reads. What makes the video so funny is that she reads the statement in a matter-of-fact way while Ashton responds with over-the-top shock.
The video was then posted on social media and quickly went viral. It is their remarkably strong love, their playfulness and their hilarious sense of humor that just makes people love the pair more. And after this, I guess no one will ever believe these kinds of rumors again.
